Profile
James joined the club as a Junior and progressed into the Senior ranks to become a reliable opener and dynamic cover-point fielder.
Having played a key role in the 3rd XI promotion season of 2009 as a 19 year old, ‘Jimmy’ soon found himself a regular 2nd XI player. Not one to mince his words on the outfield, Jimmy let his batting do the talking in 2022 with a career best seasons tally of 521 runs - including 2 hundreds and 2 fifties.

Reasons for playing at LBTCC?
Grew up in the town, played at youth level and eventually progressed to adult level. Although other offers were there - decided to stick with LBTCC
Likes and Dislikes
Likes - half volleys, pasta and football shirts.
Dislikes - trying to play off my legs, spin and fruit
Most memorable LBTCC moment
Winning the 2020 Covid tier 4-B - although it was a quick fire 7 games it was good to be back playing and also average 35.
Goal for 2023 season
Match last seasons run tally (521) as a minimum.
Look to get another couple of centuries.
